Your medical with Dr Finlay Medical Services

Our medicals are carried out at 47 Boston Road, Sleaford NG34 7HD.

The medical will usually be carried out by one of our nurses or health care support workers, and a doctor. You will be asked to produce a urine sample when you attend for the medical (this is to test for diabetes and kidney disorders). The nurse/health care support worker will then check some basic details and check your eyesight, blood pressure and height or weight.

You will then see the doctor who will go through your medical history with you and complete any other examination that is required (the extent of this will depend on what type of medical you are having)

Most of our medicals will normally take about 25 - 45 minutes.
